Thereβs a story out this morning from the Canadian Press that made me rise an eyebrow as it goes against everything we know from law enforcement and the data.
It states that 71% of RCMP traced crime guns are domestically sourced. That was shocking to read so we did a little digging into the numbers.
Here's the truth:

@Safety_Canada I keep getting emails from blackmailers who threaten me with criminal charges if I dont give them specific items from my legally owned property!
Any suggestions? @TWilsonOttawa#HoldTheLine
@NoGunsInCanada This is a troll account.
It has to be, there's no way someone could be this disingenuous on this issue unless theyre doing it deliberately!
Either that or they genuinely have really good acoustics in their skull!
@NoGunsInCanada Maybe politicians should behave in a manner which doesnt induce people to commit violence against them. Then they wouldn't need amred security because there'd be no fear of people carrying out retalitority violence. π€·ββοΈ
@NoGunsInCanada Zero firearms context in these screenshots. "Clocking him one" and "a shot to the head" are both commonly used expressions regarding fist fights.
@Polysesouvient@TheHillTimes Using empirical evidence from a country with gun saturation to form policy for a country without gun saturation is not the correct empirical evidence to use.
Yet more narrative twisting alarmist tripe from both these accounts.
@CanadaGoose911 Alberta read the room? Why do you think so many Albertans want to separate? What has led us into this position?
Could it possibly be the East of Canada failing to read the room for so long?
@Polysesouvient Focusing on the tool and not the process os exactly how Australia got into this mess. Well done to Poly for following EXACTLY the same logic trap. I.E NO LOGIC! Do better, be smarter.
