Last run of the year, filled with gratitude for health, movement, and simple joys. 2025 was great—now onto new goals, focus, and growth. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous New Year.
Last run in Madrid—this city was definitely flirting back. Wrapped it with tacos and margaritas with my daughter before Bad Bunny takes over. LA on Tuesday, but Madrid has a way of making you rethink things. Grateful for this time together.
Ran the Valencia Trail Race this morning. The heat was tough, but I kept a steady pace and finished cramp-free. From single-track trails to open roads, I crossed the line smiling, medal and cold beer in hand. Congrats, runners!

London delivered today. I went out for a morning run and somehow turned it into a half marathon. No race fit my schedule, so I made my own. Before noon, I ran past the city’s landmarks, from Wellington Arch and Marble Arch to Royal Albert Hall,
4-mile shakeout run in Big Bear before tomorrow’s Rose Bowl Half Marathon. Took it easy by the lake in the cold—about 40°F. See you tomorrow in Pasadena.
