Spending the day at one of Tassieโs amazing beaches, we're seriously, weโre spoiled for choice here. ๐
Havenโt been posting much lately, but Iโve been deep into some fun product design and 3D printing projects. Canโt wait to share what Iโve been working on once itโs ready.
Sorting through my old phones, I came across one of my all-time favorites: the Sony Xperia XZ. This phone served me well for over five years. Back then, you could find Sony phones everywhere in Australia. These days, though, they're much harder to come by unless you import one.
Spent ages diagnosing why my amp wasnโt outputting to the speakers, only to find the homemade speaker cable was stuffed ๐. Always the simple things! Used the chance to clean up some solder joints and ordered proper replacement lamps. Tried LEDs but hated how they looked.
@MisirajEduart Having just purchased a really cheap nasty SCART cable from AliExpress, I can truly appreciate this quality. Great work dude, looks like a top-notch cable๐ซก
Just grabbed this cheap electrolytic capacitor kit for some breadboard tinkering. Brand name? "Aoqdqdqd", looks like they let a cat stroll across the keyboard or perhaps they borrowed inspiration from my file naming habits ๐
Picked up another one of these digital watch kits! This time, itโs all about reverse engineering. Feels like the perfect simple project to dig into! I'll share my progress over the next few days, including PCB scans. Stay tuned!
Ready for a peaceful night of recapping. There's nothing like that satisfying pile of @digikey ziplock bags at the end of a project! Always feels like a badge of honour ๐
Collecting (if that's what you call it) takes space! ๐ Threw together this wall-mounted shelf out of MDF for my electronics workbench. It's a quick, slapped-together build, but itโll do the job for all my storage needs!
