Unfortunately footage of the murder of Sergeant Matt Ratana is now in the public domain.

The custody CCTV has been released and is available for the world to see.

For the sake of his loved ones, colleagues and all those who responded and helped, please @standardnews take it down and no one else share it.

The jury need to see it, but it does not need to be shared and viewed around the world.

Please no one else post it either and instead remember Sergeant Ratana’s inspirational words. 😔 #ThinBlueLine

I cannot believe they have released the CCTV whilst the trial is still ongoing, or ever for that matter! No one needs to see that apart from the jury in that court room! The public do not need to see it, I didn’t need to see it! 😢
