@glossedglev @TimurNegru Just stunning. Castiglione del Lago is a lovely town. Also easy train links up to Tuscany - Trasimeno borders Tuscany at one point in the north west of the lake.
I live in northern Tuscany but spent 6 months in Umbria not far from Trasimeno.

@glossedglev @TimurNegru Get lots of quotes from different builders/tradesmen. If you are doing a major renovation whatever you think it will cost - probably multiply by 3.
Umbria - anywhere near or on Lake Trasimeno

@MartinSLewis 1984 came home from a shopping trip wearing the new shoes I had bought and he didn’t even notice! Also bought a beautiful coat in 1992 for £350 from John Lewis. Said it was in the sale 😬. A great buy though as I still wear it and it still gets complimented on.
