@BBCNews We have been trying all day to get through to Emirates but no luck via any source of communication. We know the airport is closed until 3pm tomorrow when a further decision will be made. We were only here for 12 hours before departing to Australia

@BBCNews We are currently stuck in Dubai and were in the hotel inside Terminal 3 when the drone struck. We were evacuated through a smoke filled airport and then bussed around the city for 3 hours until we had to get off the bus and find our own hotel for the night. Truly terrifying
