Over the past 6 months, while on a break from tweeting, I have been conducting some in-depth research which I now believe to be complete. I've been led to an inevitable and inescapable conclusion: twitter absolutely sucks
I forgot to update last weekend as I was a little busy with things, but another bit of progress here. I'm pretty happy with how things are going, and it's nice to not need to worry about this stuff so much now that I'm comfortably into the "healthy" BMI range
Mostly a good week, but you can probably guess which day I treated myself ๐
I kinda wanted to though, as I noticed I was losing a lot this week and I don't want to lose it too quickly, that sounds like a bad idea
@holly_char_ As far as I know, my name is unique, it definitely is in the UK. That's kinda worrying at times, I'd prefer a more common name in some ways ๐
If anyone fancies watching any Japanese symphonic power metal/neo-classical metal, I would recommend it. It's by Versailles, and it's mostly their Holy Grail album, which is my favourite album of theirs

After several years of being online, a rip of one of my favourite band's live shows got taken down last month, and I missed watching it
Turns out the whole thing was put on their label's official YouTube channel, and it's even at higher quality - it's freaking amazing
@missdaisyfdoo@angelaeagle I honestly couldn't believe that he doubled-down on that today after all of the backlash - it shows how desperate he is to misdirect
Proud to see my MP, @angelaeagle, calling out the PM at PMQs today, highlighting the real risks of the level of irresponsibility that he's demonstrating. She's a great MP
@missdaisyfdoo@angelaeagle She did! It was along the lines of "If you don't even know if you were at a party or not, how can we trust your hand on the nuclear deterrent" - he gave a non-answer about Corbyn
I don't blame you for turning off, I can't stand him, the sooner he gives up and resigns, the better
@missdaisyfdoo@angelaeagle She really is! She's the only local MP I've ever written to, despite living in several different constituencies over the years, but she's always responded quickly and sent me great responses
And since when did we accept the idea that if you should fall on hard times in the UK, you will be left to rely on charity, not the state, to feed your family?
Sex positivity was *meant* to be about being able to say "yes" or "no" to thinks you want to do/have done to you, but all too often the focus is on the "yes" and there is shame associated with the "no", portraying those who don't want to do increasingly extreme things as prudes
This is a really great article about sex-positivity and how that without adequate criticism of male sexual entitlement and sex education has given carte blanche to abusive behaviours
