The @CDCgov's latest Trends Report on our nation's youth shows the percentage of high school students experiencing sad or hopeless thoughts:

57% of female students are experiencing & 29% of male students.

For females, this is an increase from 36% in 2011 to 57% in 2021. 🧵1/2
