Expect great vibes and local pride.
I’m frankly astonished.
A Croydon Labour MP has asked me to justify why the Labour Mayor of London’s ULEZ expansion is making life harder for her residents.
This is a policy imposed by Labour, backed by Croydon Labour councillors, and still supported by Labour’s local mayoral candidate.
I warned this would punish elderly residents, carers and people on fixed incomes - and now Labour pretend to be surprised.
It defies belief.
I’ll keep fighting to scrap this unfair, ineffective ULEZ expansion.
Croydon is back on track - let’s keep it going.
Today @CroydonTories are announcing our candidates for the 2026 council elections in May.
Since 2022 we’ve stabilised the finances after Labour’s bankruptcy, tackled crime and antisocial behaviour, cleaned up our streets, protected parks and green spaces, and brought investment back to Croydon.
There’s more to do - but this team will help keep Croydon moving forward and restore pride in every community👇

.@KemiBadenoch has been repeatedly calling for a full National Inquiry since January.
It’s about time Keir Starmer recognised he made a mistake and apologise for six wasted months.
Pensioners are poorer, jobs are disappearing, and energy bills are soaring — Labour’s energy policy is a disaster.
And the PM’s answer? Go “further and faster” in the wrong direction.
Why should families pay the price for his broken promises and refusal to change?
FT Reports Labour may axe its £13.2bn Warm Homes Plan. This is alarming & Diluting it traps millions in cold homes, spikes NHS costs & keeps bills high.
Home energy upgrades are vital.
@UKLabour : keep your promise.

Lucy Powell’s comments on the rape gangs were appalling—but they reflect a much deeper rot within the Labour Party. It is a party that prioritises loyalty over service and reputation over accountability. Time and again, they’ve chosen to smear critics as racists rather than confront the stomach-turning scandal of girls being groomed and raped while authorities looked the other way for decades.
Nothing can shut down the voices of the victims - that's why I’m not letting this go.
I’m signing the pledge with @CPRE for Ed Miliband to get smart on solar. Whether you want solar over your own head, are keen to see your local supermarket decked out in rooftop solar, or are concerned about mega solar - add your name. https://t.co/onLW3ZIcCK
Local government is about results.
Across the country, that’s exactly what Conservative councils deliver.
Where Conservatives are in charge the streets are cleaner, roads are repaired more frequently, and council tax is lower. 👇
Fed up with fly-tippers in your area?
With this new government crack down, fly-tippers' vehicles will be seized and crushed.
If you’ve spotted fly-tipping near you, report it here: https://t.co/YxckqXW3HP
Labour’s bin strike, coming to a town near you?
The Birmingham bin strike is a warning: Vote Labour, get trash.
The only way to stop them is to Vote Conservative on 1st May.
Labour wasted months before even speaking to President Trump about a trade deal.
Now, British businesses face damaging tariffs.
They need to get on with it and secure a tariff-free deal that protects jobs and boosts our economy.
An excellent result.
Congratulations to Martin Hayes and @CLWCA on a well-run campaign, taking this seat off Labour who are not delivering for the local community.
5 years ago we delivered the biggest democratic mandate in British history.
Now Keir Starmer, who campaigned for a second referendum, is trying to take us backwards.
So we’re setting him 5 tests he must meet in any future deal with the EU 👇
