Rick Rule: We are in the midst of a precious metals bull market reminiscent of the 1970s.

- During the 1970s, gold rose from $35-$700 in 10 years
- The gold price increased ~20x

That does not mean it was a smooth ride.

Within that period, gold fell ~50% from $200-$100 over 8 months. Anyone who got shaken out missed the subsequent ~7x move to $700.

The current bull market will “beat the top out of our imagination because we have been beaten so thoroughly since,” but investors should be prepared for 20-50% pullbacks.

Do not get shaken out.

If you're unsure whether to buy silver now at its current prices, just look into history. During the 1979-1980 silver mania, junior mining stocks returned 1,000% to 13,000%. Even the worst performer literally did 233%.

So maybe your investment strategy isn't in silver itself but the miners or industries that profit as silver surges?

Registered Silver at the COMEX is at an all time low today. If the current rate of depletion keeps up, COMEX will run out of physical silver in the coming weeks. Silver will be unobtainium at that point...Hardly anyone is talking about this.
