Ped zones have been gaining prominence in the urban planning in the last decade and thats why it wasnt done earlier

And that the company making all this profit could do a nice thing and give that money as bonuses anyway because it’s morally right

Spending only 75k on this event that over 200,000 people will attend is such a no brainer you don’t need to do that much analysis

People from all over the lower mainland come to Van and spend money at restaurants, bars, shops, etc that they otherwise wouldn’t or they would spend it in whatever municipality they are from which isn’t as beneficial to us
