Un militare dell'IDF ha parlato con il quotidiano israeliano Haaretz a condizione di anonimato, ha dichiarato di essersi arruolato nell'esercito nel 2008 e di aver ucciso almeno 54 palestinesi "compresi civili disarmati".

Durante il genocidio a Gaza, ha prestato servizio in una cellula di droni per attacchi.

Ha assistito al famoso attacco dell'esercito israeliano contro ambulanze chiaramente identificate nel quartiere di Tel al-Sultan a Rafah nel marzo 2025, in cui persero la vita 15 operatori umanitari e medici palestinesi.

L'esercito israeliano negò ogni addebito.
Dopo il ritrovamento di una fossa comune contenente le vittime, promise un'inchiesta. Nessun soldato israeliano è stato processato per gli omicidi.

"Erano chiaramente identificabili come veicoli di soccorso, anche quando sono stati bersagliati dal fuoco di terra", ha dichiarato il militare ad Haaretz, descrivendo la notte dell'attacco.

"Senza alcuna ragione apparente, le truppe di terra hanno assaltato il convoglio. Hanno sparato al primo veicolo. Il personale medico è uscito, si è nascosto dietro le ambulanze e ha implorato per la propria vita, e i soldati hanno sparato anche a loro, uno dopo l'altro" ha detto.

“Dopo questo episodio, ho capito che chiunque potrebbe uccidere chiunque volesse, quante volte volesse, senza doverne rispondere a nessuno.”

Il militare, operatore di droni, tornato in servizio dopo una vacanza, chiede all'ufficiale gli obiettivi da caricare sul computer.

"A Gaza hai due milioni di obiettivi da colpire" risponde l'ufficiale.

"Sparano a chiunque vedano", ha detto, descrivendo quella che paragona all'atmosfera di uno stadio di calcio all'interno della sua base operativa.

«Proprio come gridano a un giocatore: "Forza, segna un gol!", allo stesso modo gridano a un soldato: "Uccidilo, attaccalo!".

Il militare ha assistito, senza intervenire, a scene in cui le forze israeliane monitoravano atti efferati commessi da milizie collaborazioniste della criminalità palestinese sostenute e finanziate dall'esercito israeliano.
