87 years after Lou Gehrig became the face of ALS, there is still no cure.
Today on #LouGehrigDay, we continue our mission to raise awareness of ALS, support the need for research and care, remember those who bravely fought, and recognize those who continue to battle.
In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Heartbreakers later this year, we are opening the archives to release some treasures from the white hot โ70s era of the band, starting with this extended version of โAmerican Girlโ.
This new HiRes/spatial mix was created from the original multi-track tapes by long-time engineer Ryan Ulyate, and includes an extended, never-before-heard outro that was recently uncovered in the archives.
