Chronic absenteeism is a major challenge in schools and often leads to academic struggles for students. Yet, teachers are frequently held responsible for the outcomes.
It’s time to acknowledge that schools and educators alone cannot be expected to solve all of the challenges our children face. Addressing these issues requires a broader, community-wide commitment.
In unhealthy relationships, people only contact you when they need you. They treat your interactions as transactions that leave you feeling used.
In healthy relationships, people reach out when they think of you. They’re invested in your relationship and eager to be helpful.
Billionaires can write off the entire cost of their private jets and yachts on their taxes, but teachers can only write off up to $300 of school supplies for their classrooms.
