Join me on a journey to visit every station currently served by the National Rail network. I'll be boarding or alighting a train at every one!

Have you heard about our new “Ranger” tickets for the ‘Mayflower Line’ and the ‘Sunshine Coast Line' in Essex? It means you can now enjoy unlimited off-peak travel along either line for one day, and hop on and off all day!

It's a great pleasure to welcome @greateranglia to our Know Your Train service today.
We're working with them on the information we have even more for their services, so watch this space!
@rupert_airbear Nice to see you briefly this morning and congratulations again on visiting every single station! 👏🏻 hopefully the rain holds off and you can enjoy your stop in Sheringham 🙂
@rupert_airbear Ah yes, I remember that! Luckily I had clear blue skies the day I walked across there, and therefore some lovely views! Better than looking down, anyway 😅😬
#FlyingScotsman is due to visit our network this Friday.
Please stay safe and stay away from the tracks.
Gates at Norwich and Gt. Yarmouth stations will only be open for Greater Anglia passengers.

🤔 has anyone either got or produced one map that shows the valid areas of all the different rail rover and ranger tickets?
I know there are maps showing the validity of individual tickets but I can't find one that covers all of the different tickets in one place 🙏🏼
@sarahmoragcorke Ah, I got the wrong line altogether then 🙈 both in the middle of nowhere though but glad you're on the move again. That's the last station in Suffolk that I need to visit but I'm hoping it won't be much longer before I have some free time on a Sunday🤞🏻

After a short walk along a really lovely high street, I've arrived at a station that I'm struggling to describe. Bland? Desolate? It's certainly lacking any character and needs some TLC. Anyway, I'll soon be leaving on the last train of the day 😔 @IBLRG

First up today is this rather charming station on the East Coast Main Line. The historic buildings here are lovely but it's the first station I've come across where two of the four platforms feel quite so separate from the others! 🤔
@bentriderlee@IBLRG Yep, no Saturday service anymore but the line sees one train a day in each direction, Monday to Friday. It only changed a couple of weeks ago at the last timetable change 🙂
@AxholmeRob@IBLRG I really hope so! The road leading to the station wasn't too bad but almost everything beyond the red barrier looked like it had been put there decades ago, and then just forgotten about ever since 😐

I've come one stop along the line to the sixth least-used station in Great Britain, but *two* other passengers got off here today as well! However, my only option for reaching my final new station today is to go and catch a bus...🚍 @IBLRG
@callumLtfc@IBLRG Oh dear, that doesn't sound particularly pleasant 🫤 but yes, the high street there was great - no empty shops and the perfect mix of bigger names and independents 🙌🏻
@callumLtfc@IBLRG I just couldn't believe how barren and uncared for the area outside the station was, although granted the footbridge looked somewhat out of place too! 😬
