@talbotarn@brianmoore666 "The UK has given Australia pretty much everything it wanted in terms of access to the UK agricultural market" and it might add 0.08% to GDP. An excellent deal for those who have investments in fossil fuels. https://t.co/cuSbykREsC
@AnneLaird31@cristo_burton Truss will use her earlier work on the ways to reduce smuggling contraband into prisons to design a system that removes any need for checks on goods crossing over the Irish/NI border. https://t.co/hbxv2k1PiU
@nicktolhurst Truss, the genius behind the trade deal with Japan, which gave 80% of the benefit to Japan, will be following Frost, the genius who triumphantly presented us with a deal he both negotiated and described as unworkable. And which didn't cover services, the one area we had a surplus
@timothy_stanley Frost - "a man of serious capability and principle"? He said that we should remain in the single market and laid out good reasons for doing so. He then negotiated a deal that he said was unworkable and has been backtracking ever since. He lacks both capability and principle.
@Jennyflower โThe free trade agreement that we will have to come to with the European Union should be one of the easiest in human historyโ โ Liam Fox, then international trade secretary, July 2017
@mcm_home Happy Christmas - although if we could get him totally off the public payroll then it would be even better. He is a total fool and a waste of space.
@fascinatorfun@DPJHodges and at the moment there is a shortage of lateral flow tests too, so that would probably have an effect on lowering the figures too.
@BexBitchley @danbloom1 It's another example of the particular type of Tory studity that makes them think being required to wear a face mask on the train is a diabolical attack on their liberty but a policing bill that criminalises non-violent protest is great policy and should be supported.
