Just had a threatening letter from @HMRCgovuk for just over £6K.
Usual harassment. I have 10 days dated from the date of the letter that is dated 3rd June and it’s arrived today 9th June.
Because there is no longer a Royal Mail stamp mark dating when it was sent I am cynical enough to believe they pre date the letter before the date they send it to give you less time to act.
Debt collectors threatened etc.
Here’s the thing.
I paid this on 2nd July last year.
I guess it’s easy to make a mistake when you are probably ‘working from home’ on a beach in Spain.
