Fanart (made for passion) being made for fanfics (arguably the biggest passion projects out there considering u can't profit off them) may just have the most amount of pure love poured into their creation. Art for the sake of passion. For the sake of creating. I love the internet

Coming from both an artist & writer, there's legitimately no greater gift then receiving fanart for something you poured all your heart into. The fact that a reader can connect so deeply with your writing that it makes them want to visualize it is so so touching.

To any Ao3 writers reading this: I heavily recommend hyperlinking fanart in ur notes +saying a few things about the works!! Html can be a big pain to learn but paying homage to ur artists is so worth it❤️ I have folders for both BAH and DSE fanart & I cherish every single piece

@JustSimplAsh Instinctively, I would look towards Scara or Albedo to due to their connection. However, seeing as they are very powerful & unkillable, Durin himself ends up being the most vulnerable of the trio. Hurting Durin specifically would also maximize hurt/comfort output (priority no.1)
