My aunt had down syndrome and her family was told at birth that she would die at a young age.. however she outlived her older sister who died at 68 who she lived with her whole life.. she worked at a place surrounded by others with down syndrome and she loved it.. she looked forward to going to work everday.. she was an absolutely incredible woman..
