I wonder if NieR Reincarnation haters would still stand by their opinion if they actually read ANY of the character lore. I would say that it's a 7/10 game at best but a 9/10 story at worst and I can't even imagine hating on the most beautifully written characters I've ever seen

@vdRob190 @Dandyfloss_ I would argue the script is more soulslike esque than AI esque though imo. Play Dark Souls, Elden Ring, or basically any other soulslike and the dialogue sounds equally strange if not MUCH more so, I think it's just an aspect of the genre

@loveofapuppet I'm really hoping that if Dorothy is the MC she'll have some new mechanics related to her shoes, the dimension hopping in Alice Madness Returns comes to mind. I would also love some form of party mechanics to make the story more character central, and an MC who can talk this time
