The irrefutable flaw with people who say this is that emotional provocation is not a substitute for logical evidence at all. You can’t rectify ending the life of a person so you instead frame the issue through a tragic scenario. Logic is that a claim’s validity depends on its premises and evidence NOT the emotional reaction that follows from that question. Simply put, if you use this argument or think this is a gotcha, you’re incapable of formulating any coherent thought so you attack character rather than addressing the merits of an argument
Calling it jealousy is just oversimplifies things, it’s more that Kanye thrives on being the disruptive focal point of the culture, so he specifically picks fights with whoever currently holds the spotlight to force his way back into the center of the conversation. It’s not about him feeling lesser than these other artists, he remains the most talked about person in the room because he’s that way, it’s the reason he’s the greatest rapper of several generations and exactly why even if he involves himself in the worst of worst conversations, he’s STILL at the top, there’s a reason Kendrick will never get to that point and it’s because he’s not even in the same league as Ye
@Surfbone2 If I choose adaption, can I turn it off? What if I lowkey start adapting to old age and slow deaths and just live forever, that’d be terrible. If I can turn it off, then I’d choose 100% choose adaption
d4vd is a 5’4 120lb man going to prison for sexually abusing and murdering a child. It will not look pretty for him in that cell once he loses administrative segregation
The powerscaling in Invincible is so atrocious that is genuinely takes you out of the story at times. I think Robert Kirkman’s ego is far too large to admit it as well.
@NickKirilov5555@Mutant_Menace Stands to reason tbh, we’ve reached a point where you can’t like a flawed character otherwise you’re a supporter of what makes those characters flawed. It’s crazy
If you agree to the notion that humans are valuable, I don’t understand how you can sit here, possessing the brain capacity for reasoning and argumentation, and still agree with the notion that viability or capability determine human value. Those two positions are logically incompatible. How are you and me worth the same, but a living distinctive human being living in its mother’s womb is not? That question is literally never answered and is always dodged. You don’t need to be a Christian to recognize this either.
