What a special afternoon at @EdenCourt yesterday, when Anndra Cumming and Lucy Beth performed at Under Canvas as part of the Sgrìobh | Scrieve project.
We are very grateful to Eden Court for working in partnership with us and to @Creativescotla1 for financial support.
There are only 2 days to go until Anndra Cumming and Lucy Beth perform at Under Canvas.
Their performances are part of the Sgrìobh|Scrieve project which we set up with @EdenCourt to give two young artists the opportunity to create their own music and poetry in Gaelic and Scots.
Flora Boyd was from Barra and additional recordings of her were recently uploaded to the website.
In this recording from 1976, Flora tells a supernatural story about a girl who is left on her own when her mother dies. It was recorded by @EU_SSSA.
