@simon_diamond For underexposed 6 stops I'd be tempted to treat it like an unexposed film and run it through the camera again. In normal conditions you'll rarely get anything brighter than zone 8 on your film, and that would come out at zone 2, which is barely perceptible dark texture. Re-use.

@ILFORDPhoto I've shot about 20 sheets of 4x5". The amount of detail it can resolve at that size is incredible, and it has a lovely tonality.

@shotbyshaun Industry is where it is, though. Couples perceive more images equals more for your money. It's hard to explain that fewer shots, more carefully made and edited, are actually better value.

@shotbyshaun I would say 2/3. If an album with 15 spreads averages 3 or 4 images per spreads. It only needs 50 pics. A 150 images would give you plenty of choice. Plus, chances are you putting more care in the editing if you have fewer shots to get through.

@Chrnaturephotos I assisted a commercial photographer many years ago who had a rule that he would sell anything he hadn't used in the past year. I'm not as strict as that, but I think it's a good rule.
