[Vincent The Therapist @mrhighfoster]

He is 41 years old 🇳🇬

Lost his father, Pastor Gbadebo Oyekan who was a key figure in the Pentecostal movement in Nigeria

Lost his wife Adedoyin on May 18, 2019

Survived a serious car accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in 2022 while heading to minister

Blessed with two children (a boy and a girl) with Adedoyin before her passing

Started playing guitar at age 10, encouraged by his father who led the worship group "Spiritual Singers"

Attended Airforce Nursery/Primary, Federal Government College, and Baptist Model High School in Ilorin

Avoids charging fees for ministry, citing a divine instruction to prioritize God's call over money

Views worship as warfare and intimacy. He teaches on spiritual alertness even in sleep.

Convenes Code Red Worship Experience, an annual event born after his father's death to host God’s presence.

Also runs monthly Upper Room gatherings and The Outpouring revival meetings.

His mother just celebrated her 70th birthday. He sings of her praises and refers to her as "woman of great faith"

Dunsin Oyekan is a devoted family man who honors his late wife's memory with tributes and celebrations with his kids
.
.
.
.

Dunsin Oyekan has truly faced the biggest life events that can ever happen to anyone

Loss of a parent
Loss of a spouse
Serious car accident
.
.
And still, he goes about his divine assignment with so much Godly conviction and incredible impact

He gives hope to people, not because he just can... But because he knows first-hand what it means to be shattered and uncertain
.
.
He lost his wife and was faced with the harsh uncertainty of how he was going to raise his children without their mother

Lost his father, and he would have felt the deep pain of losing an experienced figure in the same ministry and calling that he is also into

Then his car accident would have left a part of him really wanting the human closure from his late wife and his late father
.
.
.
Now for you reading this...

I don't know what you have faced in life, and I can't tell you how to react to them

But what I can tell you is to kindly look at Dunsin Oyekan's life and draw hope from him.

Dunsin Oyekan is here with us today, pushing through and never losing focus on his assignment and life's purpose.

And he is able to do this because he integrates himself in an enabling environment (physically and spiritually)
.
.
He didn't isolate himself

He didn't box himself and hide under his shell
.
.
Instead, he related more with God and with Godly people around him.

Dined with them. Sang with them. Danced with them. Prayed with them. Laughed with them.

And that's something you can do this week
.
.
Be around people that matter. People that make it worthwhile to smile again.
People that make you not just feel good, but feel good and hopeful about yourself.
.
People that would make sure you don't lose your divine clarity, despite all what has happened or is happening to you
.
.
God cares for you

And sometimes, he sends people to give you that care and warmth you need

Dunsin Oyekan had people that cared. He still does.

You also can. And if you feel you don't, why don't you pray to God right now to know
.
.
Have a great week ahead 🫂

God be with you and go ahead of you this week ❤️
.

Before you sleep tonight, speak this over your life:

“I will not fail. What God has started in my life will be completed. I will rise, I will succeed, and I will have reasons to testify. My story will end in victory, not defeat.”

Sleep with faith. Your testimony is coming. 🙏🏽❤️

[Paula White-Cain @Paula_White]

The Church of Jesus Christ must rise.

Not just inside these walls- but in every school, every boardroom, every home, every city. We are the blood-bought children of God, and this nation was founded on the very principles we carry: the advancement of the gospel, the freedom to pray, the right to speak His name.

Our forefathers declared it. Now it's our turn to stand on it.

We should be able to pray. We should be able to say His name. We should be able to preach His gospel.

The Church rises. Will you stand?

- : This is a hyphen.

– : This is an en-dash.

— : This is an em-dash.

The hyphen is used to connect words, like you say. Ex: Twenty-two, ex-boyfriend.

The en-dash is used in the context of a span of time. Ex: 1996–2018, February–March.

The em-dash is used when inserting a thought. Ex: He wouldn't—couldn't—go home.
