JUST IN: President Biden admitted that he "almost fell asleep on stage" during the debate at a Virginia fundraiser this evening.

The president blamed his poor performance on "traveling around the world" before the debate.

For the record, Biden was taking naps at Camp David in the days leading up to the debate.

"I decided to travel around the world a couple of times... shortly before the debate," Biden said according to The Hill.

"I didn’t listen to my staff… and then I almost fell asleep on stage,"

"It's not an excuse but an explanation."

This should make Democrats feel much better.

REPORT: Major Democrat donors are beginning to accept the chance that they will lose the 2024 election and are turning their attention to Senate and House races.

Some Democrats are scheming to "handcuff" Donald Trump if he wins back the White House by going all in on Senate and House races.

According to Axios, donors are keeping a close eye on polling and are getting ready to shift their money toward congressional races.

Multiple six-figure donations have already been sent out to Democratic campaigns according to the outlet.

This is significant because if successful, Democrats could make Donald Trump's 4 years in office a living h*ll if they are able to win the House and Senate.
