@RvrsRnr@lapublichealth Right now, I believe the only options are to keep checking email, try to make appt. on-line when available, and/or show up on due date with documentation of first dose .
@Yubitsume@Tzubs2@lapublichealth You're not alone... I'm sure for my 2nd vaccine on 2/10 at Fairplex and still no email... wife got her notice in less than a week
@Tzubs2@lapublichealth They didn't really know the answer. The reps answer was to make an appt online when available. I'll try that and if not will try showing up, and bring my record of the first shot
@lapublichealth And for those individuals like me who had our first appointment at Pomona Fairplex and still have not received a second appointment email, how do we contact LA Public Health before we are due?
@SusanRamirez716@lapublichealth We are in the same boat... My wife got a 2nd appointment email and I didn't. Also haven't found a place to contact. Please let me know if you find anything and I'll do the same...
@Laurie_Altschul @lapublichealth My wife and I are in the same boat... Received 1st vaccine at Fairplex on Wednesday and did not get 2nd appointment. With the shortage how will w we get appointment for the 2nd dose?
Example of vaccine rollout confusion for seniors in LA county. Public Health says, over the next 3-4 weeks, limited amount of vaccine means most will be saved for 2nd doses. But, at least for 65+, 2nd dose requires same online self scheduling without any appointment priority.
@erenbali Hey Eren, sounds like you've got your act together with Carbon Health...I was the Patient Safety Director for UCLA health system before I retired, and agree that the vaccine rollout needs to be handled a lot better... keep up the great work, thanks!
