A Conservative MP asked a basic question in Question Period today: how much will the Liberal government’s counter tariffs cost Canadian families?

Liberal House Leader Steven MacKinnon didn’t give a number. He stood up, pointed, and started yelling that Conservatives are throwing a “hissy fit” and that the “blame Canada brigade” should sit down. Then the Liberal benches clapped.

Asking what a government policy will cost taxpayers is not a hissy fit. It’s the job of the opposition. If the policy is so good, why can’t they just say what it costs?

This government is unhinged.
