The DICOM files of the “winged” specimen named Suyay have now been released on https://t.co/6exy2wmtw8 for approved researchers.

This means medical imaging from two different “insectoid-like” specimens are now available for independent study and comparison.

What the hell were they depicting?

In ancient Peru, especially in Paracas art from roughly 700 BCE to 200 CE, we keep seeing humanoid figures with huge eyes, and three-fingered hands and feet.

It goes right into the Nasca culture, from roughly 100 BCE to 700 CE, where pottery is covered with anthropomorphic beings. They also have three fingers and three toes.

No one truly knows who these beings were supposed to be. We have labels like Oculate Being, Mythical Being and Killer Whale Being...yeah even the last one.

The people who made this art left us no readable text explaining what these things were. Were they gods? Ancestors? Shamans transforming into something else? Beings from the sea? Beings from the sky? Something they believed actually existed? We dont know. But they were obsessed with putting them on pottery and all kinds of other shit.

Then the imagery keeps going.

A Chancay textile from roughly 1350-1550 CE is described as showing another three fingered being.

So I am looking at more than a thousand years of ancient Peruvian art repeatedly showing intelligent humanlike beings with hands and feet that don't match normal humans.

The explanation is basically, “probably symbolic.”

Why three fingers? Why three toes? Why the huge eyes? Why the constant connection to flying, the ocean, animals and supernatural realms?

What exactly were these people trying to show us?
