MS NOW: FBI Director Kash Patel abruptly canceled a planned trip to Chicago to visit his girlfriend after frustrated Trump administration officials summoned him to the White House, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The exact reason remains unclear, but several officials were reportedly upset over a range of Patel’s actions. Some were also frustrated that he planned to leave Washington amid renewed tensions with Iran and alleged threats against Trump.
