@JacobsFieldRBW Exactly. I mean it sucks to lose, but it's a 5 game series for a reason. Horrible showing, but I'd almost rather lose like that than like a 5-4 heartbreaker. Suck it up, get to work and win on Monday. So much doom and gloom on here.
Listen, it obviously wasn't good. But I'm old enough to remember when we ALWAYS lost the first game of the ALDS and came back to win the series.... some of the times.... sorry, that's all I've got.... π€·ββοΈ
@whynotklove@NadineBabu Came here to sat that exact thing. I think CBS wanted out of the Romo experience anyway, and this gave them the excuse they needed to move on.
@jeffparles Has there ever been a good explanation as to why, when they narrowed the FG posts back in the 90s, why they didn't then also narrow the hash marks? Seems like ever since then FGs (especially short ones) are harder in college than in the NFL.
@How9876543210 Of course you can. So instead of a perfectly reasonable solution you took your clubs and went home to pout about it on the internet? And people wonder why everyone hates Boomers.
@Castellani2014 I think you fix this by making the endzones 15 yards deep. Makes FG 5 yards longer, and provides more space in the end zone for action. Seems like a dumb idea but I think it works.
Here's what I would do with the baseball schedule:
- 154 game reg season, no interleague
- add 2 teams: Nashville, SLC
- Go back to 2 divisions/ league - 8 teams each (East/West)
- 4 teams/league make playoffs Division winners + 2 WCs
- 7 game series, div. winners get home field
