@jacksullivan309@benjamin_horne Why WOULDN'T a pilot have a roommate? If you're single and don't have a family, and you're on the road all the time anyway, what's the point of having your own apartment? Save up for a house when the time is right.
@AConcernedPare2 Obvious ones: Ender's Game, Hitchhiker's Guide
Arthur C. Clarke: Rendezvous with Rama, Against the Fall of Night
Alfred Bester: Demolished Man, The Stars Our Destination
Marina Lostetter: Noumenon series
Neal Stephenson: Snow Crash, Seveneves (more advanced, but he sounds smart)
@acaseofthegolf1 He should reach out to John Deere for a sponsor's exemption. Given the circumstances I would think he'd probably get one. It is an interesting storyline though, but no way in hell you pass up an opportunity to play in the US Open.
@CarsleyGolf 100% agree. People always say to me, "you wouldn't want to play with me, I'm not very good" I always respond - Do you keep up and have fun? Would much rather play with someone who keeps pace and has a positive attitude than a stick who is a jerk and does aimpoint.
@JezzEllwoodGolf Agree. Side note, quick anecdote about the biggest jerk I ever played against. 5 footer to halve a hole, right as I'm about to putt, he says, "Wait a sec!" comes over, looks at it, and says, "Putt it!" as if I at any point I thought he would give it to me. Worst person ever.
@ovallerao@Daniele_Media He was doing this all series against the Guardians last week. Slade Cecconi started quick pitching him and Caballerro got pussed about that and was staring Skade down who just shrugged his shoulders. You wanna play games, letβs play games. At some point heβll get one in the ear.
@NUCLRGOLF Hits a bad shot and instead of just shaking it off and going to the next one, immediately starts making excuses, saying βIβm usually better than thisβ. βI just got this new driver, not used to it yetβ etc.
@MDSmalls23 Donβt get it either. What did people expect, heβd come up and immediately start raking? Heβs doing fine. Yeah not really a high ceiling but a serviceable option for a team that really needs it. Especially now.
@jeffMLBdraft I wonder how much run Valera got because he seems like a great dude, and his swing is aesthetically pleasing, but you're right, the numbers and performance are just not there and he's getting to an age where it's probably not going to get any better.
