Nope — literally has nothing to do with OBS.

Apex/Valorant/BF6 all nuke DirectShow drivers.

Elgato, Avermedia etc. — any capture card that uses DirectShow is nuked SYSTEM WIDE until next reboot.

OBS doesn't even need to be open for it to happen.

USB capture cards are not impacted because they use UVC drivers — but almost every INTERNAL capture will get nuked if they use DirectShow.

There is currently no known way to revive your capture card other than a full system restart.
