A lot of things have changed with the variants alpha, beta, delta, and the new ones look to be more infectious and deadly. Imagine what the numbers can mean. For educated, asymptomatic is a loss in the battle against covid.

@DrAseemMalhotra I had the inflammation from the vaccine. It's nice to know the mechanism that causes it. I still highly recommend everyone take the vaccine. Vaccine inflammation heals, we still don't know if actual covid inflammation does or ever will.

@TheCanuckMD I can see it about vaccines giving you an early boost so your immune system is better able to recognize and mount defense to reduce the spread earlier. I can also see it where we're talking about active spread, the time when you're infected and spreading without showing symptoms.

@JHowardBrainMD We've known the dangers of SARs like viruses since the early 2000s. And we've known how even immunity from Covid doesn't last long, when people with Covid got Covid again WITHIN the same year in 2020.

@JHowardBrainMD I think it's obvious herd immunity is never achievable. The flu virus changes every year and we detect 2-3 variants that are potential dangers to make vaccines for it by the end of year. Covid is way more transmissible.
