@TheRealJamieKay Blair should have stayed out of Iraq. Cameron should never have called a referendum. Austerity was a big mistake. May made immigration worse and Truss well enough said.
Economist Mariana Mazzucato says Brexit led to businesses leaving the UK, shrank market opportunities and damaged investment.
She says Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson have still not been held accountable for what she calls one of the country's biggest economic mistakes.
Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson have both denied lying to the public.
@BenGrahamUK Labours huge membership - 1 member 1 vote. Plus additional votes for accredited union members knocks those that voted for Boris and Truss into an Etonian top hat!
@AndyBurnhamGM I have rejoined the Labour Party today Andy I left on the day they announced scrapping the winter fuel payments. I also think farmers and small businesses have taken the hit that should have been inflicted on Energy companies and digital oligarchs.
Welcome back Andy
@Jo_Marney@Iromg@TheGreenParty I work with surgeons and most days they are in jeans or sweatshirts or cycling gear because they change into scrubs ASAP suits are mostly for meetings. On the wards they have to be bare below elbows which make shirts and suits less practical. No one cares as much.
@Jo_Marney@Iromg@TheGreenParty When has a womanโs appearance ever been worth more than her mind? Stop doing the misogynists work for them!! I read this and expected it to be Andrew Tate or a crusty old reform idiot. What about scruffy Boris or Sunaks Iโll fitting trousers?? We are better than this!!
I stopped paying for Labour membership when Keir was elected leader.
I voted Labour because I support my local MP but Starmer does not reflect the Labour Party that created the welfare state. There is so much talent amongst the other MPs he should step down. Integrity above all
@KirstieMAllsopp@JoStevensLabour Can we all remember that people in low paid jobs are more often than not working hard and their money is hard earned. Property ownership was more about right time and luck to grow hard earned money. Wages should have grown with house prices for these complaints to matter.
@juneslater17 Omg!! Show me where in Bethlehem they grew a Norwegian pine or a spruce tree and I will let you call it a Christmas tree. Where did they get glass baubles, tinsel and LED lights then? You would be condemning the Middle Eastern Jesus - hypocrisy Christianity?
@demster70 Half of brits voted Brexit so thatโs not an endorsement ๐คฃ๐คฃ we donโt like the mandatory payment of the license but we love the BBC it has the best programmes consistently
@KirstieMAllsopp Kirstie this would be a point if the profits from transport were going straight back into the public purse. In reality they are going into foreign bank accounts. Only an argument if it was a fully nationalised service.
@MichaelRosenYes What I got from your original post was how if a fairly tech savvy mature person can experience difficulties getting replacement pass how bad must it be for the elderly with limited access and support. Well done for choosing public transport when itโs an option!
@Goosey30111568 Next panorama program should just be the full unedited speech forwarded by an apology from the BBC. We can all make up our own minds after seeing the full truth with our own eyes.
