Unpopular Opinion:
Black people - as a collective - are not ready to govern.
They don't understand the implications of stealing money meant for infrastructure & service delivery.
They don't have a culture of being productive for 5hrs at work every day.
They like receiving bribes too much, even for their job spec... nevermind doing favours & going above and beyond.
They haven't built any modern town or upgraded a township into a modern town.
Yes, let the Black people who are competent & not corrupt help in governance, but at this moment, I think Afrikaners might be the most competent government workers we have - as a collective.
The only problem is that they are racist, will not prioritize Black areas & will refuse to engage in proper skills sharing.
With that said, Black people need to do better. Parts of South Africa are just turning into parts of Africa that are in horrible shape.
And all this should be getting fixed at school level, but our schools are not teaching skills, not teaching work ethic, not teaching integrity & not grooming responsible citizens.
What's the solution? ***deep sigh*** I'm scared to say...
End.
A woman not wanting you because you're broke actually makes sense. No one wants to struggle. But wanting that same woman after making some money is foolishness I'll never understand.

As a bona fide shareholder of @econetzimbabwe I attended yesterday’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM). I physically attended because I was hoping to meet my mzaya @tawandan1 there but he didn’t attend in person, but mzaya and Sekuru can always meet any other time.
I will share my detailed thoughts about the EGM later, but 3 things I should share right away:
1. The meeting was explosive throughout.
2. After polling and collation of results, the resolutions to delist the company were passed with over 90% of shares that voted.
3. Strive delivered a very emotional presentation about the company’s past and the trials and tribulations he went through. He acknowledged many people he walked with like @tawandan1, Dr Jim Myers, Mrs Gatsi, etc. He also talked about plans for an Econet Tech Park near the airport - a signature project of the Infraco company they plan to list. He also shared the artist impressions and 3D imagery of the park. He also talked about launch of Econet Ai and Yamurai, their AI agent. He also railed against the ZSE and some Pension Funds who are resisting the delisting.
I have a lot of things to say about his emotional speech. I will write about it sometime. But suffice it to say he has a point on the undervaluation of Econet shares by the local market. He was saying it can’t be right that a company generating over half a billion in revenue should trade at 8cents a share. But conversation for another day.
Okay. Ndiye? Loice the lady behind the voice messages ; "The number you have dialled is not available right now, please try again later " and "You have insufficient credit to make this call" on @econetzimbabwe
😡.
Hahahahahaha, lovely voice though, beautiful enunciation. The Second Generation of "Masalad" and "Manozi" tsitsitsitsitsi
@Techzim Vaya tried too many services at once and got stretched thin. Lesson for Zim startups being slightly better isn’t enough. You need to 10x value convenience, trust, or speed or first-mover + execution wins
If you were to lunch your app today, how would you 10x Indrive?
Elon Musk: "People get confused sometimes they think an economy is money , But money is a database
for the exchange of goods and services and for time-shifting the exchange of goods and services. Money is a database. Money does not have power in and of itself
You can run the thought experiment: if you are shipwrecked on a remote island and you have a trillion dollars in a Swiss bank account, "it's worthless"
You’d rather have a can of soup. You can have all the Bitcoin in the world and you’re still going to starve
The actual economy is goods and services”
Lions Match Ltd was once a thriving factory. The below video is an example of a "small scale factory" manufacturing match sticks. Why are we importing tooth picks and match sticks when cheap equipment like this is available from the East. We should start off with small factories that are not capital intensive then grow to larger smart factories. *Disclaimer - i do not support the safety violations shown in the video, no PPE & improper use of rotary equipment.
