The CPS has decided on the advice of lip readers not to charge the Chelsea supporters accused of racially abusing Raheem Sterling. We're pleased that this was ruled not to be a racially motivated incident and has been resolved. We hope the fans concerned can put this behind them
Everybody at Chelsea Football Club is extremely shocked and saddened by today’s devastating events across Sri Lanka. Our thoughts are with the victims and all those affected.
We are making a stand against racist abuse.
We recognise that our platforms come with responsibility, and so we are using our voice to stand against racist abuse.
Together, we are calling on social media platforms and footballing bodies to do more! #enough@PFA@ChelseaFC
"We are absolutely clear: the 'rent boy' chant is homophobic and must be treated as such."
Our statement calling for more action from The @FA and Police following a number of reports about homophobic chanting by Liverpool supporters towards Chelsea fans on Sunday 👇
#KickItOut
@LFC calling out homophobia from their own supporters towards Chelsea fans chanting “Chelsea Rent boys”. They are also actively working with the police regarding the smoke device thrown at our supporters. @ChelseaFC@ChelseaPride_#chelseatogether@kickitout
@ChelseaFC@kickitout we strongly believe a statement should be released after the Liverpool supporters were clearly singing about 'Chelsea Rent Boys'? It was a few thousand all in Anfield. This is an ongoing issue which @ChelseaPride_ are always challenging. #chelseatogether
