The new childcare space projects at Forest Park, Chase River, Ladysmith Primary and Rock City elementary schools will not be ready this fall due to construction delays and challenges arising out of the global pandemic.
We will provide more information in the coming weeks.
Know someone who can't get out? Volunteers take grocery orders over the phone once a week every Wednesday for seniors and shut-in’s. The volunteer takes the list and selects the items ordered. The Store delivers the items and collects the money owing.

1/2 We were pleased to see government give notice that it intends to table a Bill establishing the new Canada Disability Benefit. This new benefit would be historic and has the potential to significantly address poverty and inequality experienced by people with disabilities.
Temporary Stage 3 Water Restrictions will be in effect for the Town of Ladysmith, Diamond Improvement District and Stz'uminus First Nation from Wednesday, June 23 to Friday, June 25, 2021.
