I have a bank account; I borrow N10,000. I now have N10,000 in my bank account.
My brother owns a shop, and his suppliers gave him a new truck for deliveries, valued at N500.
Some Nigerians on X are celebrating N10,000 borrowing but don't worry about only N500 for a new truck
The borrowing is FPI, part of FX reserves.
The truck is FDI.
Nigeria's borrowing and FX reserves are rising, but FDI is almost negligible.
But hey…
But according to some of you, Peter Obi refusal to provide more discussion for alternative policy like he had been doing for the past 10 years is the problem.
The intelligence of a fish brain that thinks they are smart. Keep crying

Every Nigerian needs to see and hear this.

Your problems have an expiry date.
A few years ago, after moving to the UK. For the first time in 9 years in marketing, I failed probation.
I was back at London Bridge earlier this evening to see a former colleague and I am reminded that God was working it out.
Lift it to him!
Many people are saying: “Sebi you dey abroad… why you dey complain about the situation in Nigeria?”
Listen:
- The fact that I’m abroad doesn’t make me less of a Nigerian.
- The fact that I’m abroad doesn’t mean the hardship isn’t affecting me, directly or indirectly.
- The fact that I’m abroad doesn’t mean Nigeria ceases to be my home.
- The fact that I’m abroad doesn’t mean the future of our unborn generations should remain like this.
- The fact that I’m abroad doesn’t exempt me from the pain of knowing my family and friends can be kidnapped at any time.
- The fact that I’m abroad doesn’t mean I should be selfish and stop caring about my country.
- I can go on and on…
There’s no reason why every Nigerian in the diaspora should remain quiet. We can’t take all our families abroad. We can’t relocate every Nigerian out of the country. Is it until they kidnap your own family before you understand what’s happening?
The so what is this: We must all get that anger inside us and be ready. A willing mind is already close to success. We need to start demanding accountability aggressively.
Our government owes us basic things — safety, a reliable power supply, good roads, potable water, and quality healthcare. These are not luxuries.
It’s clear that this current administration has failed, and recycling the same people or their clones in other parties will never fix this. We’ve seen the pattern. We must not allow it to continue!
We need a new Nigeria!
Nigeria must be better — and it must be better in our lifetime.
We MUST MAKE NIGERIA GREAT AGAIN

@Arc_Ambydee “President that gave student loans” that’s laughable.
We never needed student loans, until he removed academic subsidy, made education expensive and introduced student loan.
Sunsetting a business and counting your losses is something or an emotional ride.
Especially for people who went at it genuinely and it didn't work.
It can be excruciating, but never forget how you've developed through that process and the intangibles you've gained.
Foreigners are coming to Nigeria to make it big, maybe because their national Bank funds it.
Maybe it's because they don't have to go through hopes and loops with a lending and rate near 20%.
