27 October 1947:India's illegal military occupation of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir was an attack on the honour and free existence of Kashmiris. Even after 79 years, from Azad Kashmir, Occupied Kashmir, and every corner of the world, only one message is being given to the world:
We are Pakistani because of Islam. Pakistan is ours.
No illegal Instrument of Accession can change that. No illegal occupation can erase that.
Kashmir was never India’s. Kashmir will never be India’s.
78 years later, India still clings to that illegal paper.
But Kashmir will NOT surrender either.
Resistance is not just stones and slogans. Resistance is living, surviving, working - and still saying NO.
India's occupation of Kashmir is UNJUST and it will remain unjust.
Built on the ILLEGAL Instrument of Accession of 26 October 1947 - a paper signed by a Maharaja who had no right to sell 77% Muslim Kashmir, without the will of its people.
In 2019 Modi abrogated Art 370. J&K under direct central rule.
Since then: 16,397 women missing. 4,271 still untraced. They said Kashmir is normal now
Is this what normalcy looks like in Kashmir?
Our laws were taken. Our youth are in jails. Our mosques are being demolished. Our children are pushed to drugs. When we speak, we are called anti-national.
But we are Kashmiri. Hum na jhuke the, na jhukenge.
We never bowed. We will never bow. We will fight till the end
University closed. Classes shifted online. Canteens shut. Libraries locked. Guards on every gate. Students not allowed to enter their own campus.
Why? Because students dared to say FREE KASHMIR.
This is not just Jamia. This is exactly what happens to Kashmiris every single day
To those who say everything is normal here - come and live one day in my Kashmir. One day without freedom, without your son coming home safe. Then tell me if this is normal.
From a place where saying FREE KASHMIR can get you arrested, where a poster in Handwara can put you in jail, where our voices are choked every single day.
And then I see this - Jamia.
You said it for us. You wrote it for us. You chanted it for us.
FREE KASHMIR
For 78 years you tried force in Kashmir. Did it work? No.
Because the cause is not militancy. The cause is OCCUPATION. The cause is denial of our right to decide
Until you address the root cause the political dispute, the stolen freedom.
In Handwara, a Kashmiri is in jail for writing what we all feel #OCCUPATION.
If India is so confident about "normalcy", why is it scared of a poster?
#FreeKashmir#Handwara
Today when I see the people of Azad Kashmir celebrating 24 Oct, my heart cries and smiles at the same time. You are lucky to be free. Please honour your freedom. Don't waste it. We are still living under occupation, under fear, under silence. But we have not given up.
