A marraige of 6 months is about to crash but I think both parties are at fault.
3rd month into their marriage, the wife took her husband's ATM card to buy food because she was too tired to cook.
When the man came back, he got angry and almost beat her.
He warned her never to take or do anything without his permission.
She took his words serious, before cooking food or taking anything at all, she'll call him at first he was enjoying it until the call became too much for him.
He came back one night very tired, expecting to be served food and he found out that his wife hasn't cooked.
He asked why and she said she has been calling him since morning for his permission and since he didn't pick his call, she decided to wait for him to come back before touching anything in the house.
If you ask someone for help and they say no, that’s not enough reason to turn them into an enemy.
If it is, you suppose first vex for yourself… because na you no fit help yourself in the first place.
My principle is different:
If you say no today, no wahala.
I’ll go away, find a way to become useful to you, provide genuine value, build a better relationship… then ask again.
Not manipulation. Not disturbing you every Tuesday morning with “Good morning sir, regarding my last message.”
Just understanding that sometimes “No” doesn’t mean “I hate you.” It simply means you haven’t given that person enough reason to say yes yet.
Don’t burn bridges because someone refused to carry you across one.
@De_Tech_Nurse@vapefuls@Ssaasquatch 😅
It was an expression!
I was trying to let him know just how rare a 200kg bench is
No 7 out of 100 gym goers is hitting that number, it’s rarer than that
