@smn99221 I think all Urahara did was just drugged Grimmjow so he could survive long enough to use his Hollow reiatsu against quincies. I doubt Urahara specifically planned to use it against Yhwach, just a carryover from him prepping in general / fighting Askin
@Jackattak20 There's nothing saying that Jugram and Yhwach only switched Quincy Powers, all that's said is Yhwach gave him his current powers. So Jugram having both doesn't matter in context to the arrow and Mimihagi
@Jackattak20 Because Yhwach gave him both, you're making up shit to be mad about when Jugram was just given both powers at once. Its not all Quincy BS, Yhwach just gave him the powers he had atm. There's no distinction to be made until the arrow
@Jackattak20 The Almighty is the only shared aspect both things remove. The arrow removes all of his schrifts, the Almighty and Aushwalen, while Mimihagi removes his Soul King Powers and removes any chance of regeneration like how he was able to after being cut by BC Ichigo w/o the Almighty
@Jackattak20 Yhwach originally has own 3 Eye Almighty, this power is removed by the Arrow and makes sense. His Black Goo and everything in relation to the SK is a seperate power, like his obscene regeneration he uses all episode and vs Blood Chains Ichigo. This is removed by Mimihagi
@Jackattak20 The almighty is intertwined because the SK also has it. It's said several times. That's not the point the SK powers are more than just the Almighty. The arrow removed Yhwach's own powers and obv the Almighty. But Mimihagi removes the actual SK powers
@Jackattak20 It doesn't work on Jugram and Uryu doesn't even use the Arrow on him. Uryu doesn't get the arrow until after his fight w/ Jugram and the glove doesn't even succeed in removing his SK Powers as mentioned the next episode. Please don't respond to me if you don't remember the story
@Jackattak20 It also actually makes mimihagi matter in the end as Ukitake in the manga kills himself for no reason. As a whole through the entirety of TYBW Mimihagi's usage is a massive narrative improvement from the manga again making the arrow look less bs cause it has to do less
@Jackattak20 The arrow technically gets rid of both in the manga but its a dumb plot hole that doesn't make sense. That's why the anime blatantly changes it to be both contributing half its a narrative change that serves the story better because again Mimihagi was set up since cour 2
@Jackattak20 The Arrow only removes his base abilities and Almighty, he would never have lost any of his SK Powers because those aren't his powers. Mimihagi revoke these abilities as it is also the SK and then also extends the duration of the Arrow. While also having better set up since Cour2
@Jackattak20 You're obscenely dense, no it removes his SK abilities because that's not related to his powers and thus unaffected by the Arrow. While extending the Arrows removal Almighty. The arrow solo carrying his defeat was bs in the Manga the anime fixes this by making Mimihagi a factor
@Jackattak20 You literally self admit it extended the duration and we literally see it rip of SK Powers off of his body revealing the original YH underneath. Let alone the dact its been set up since Cour 2 and had several scenes especially last ep setting up to this assist
@Jackattak20 But the surrounding content of the ending absolutely needed to and whike irs not a perfect solution the chabges made are a massive improvement and Mimihagi albeit makes Yhwach defeat far more earned. You can call Iba Nel and Ganju Filler or Grimmjow but Mimihagi is very important
@Jackattak20 Grimmjow's stuff is basically filler but again arguing over Mimihagi is genuinely stupid. Especially given all the contextual evidence you've been given up to this conclusion the entire arc. The ending was never going to change ichigo and Uryu were always going to kill him
@Jackattak20@amritasilwereen Especially because Mimihagi is introduced and set up since the start of the arc again making the arrow seem way less bs than it did originally. Though the arrow should've had more aside from the lore bombshell keyword page they gave
@Jackattak20@amritasilwereen Mimihagi's addition to the anime provides a massive contextual change to his defeat that makes the arrow way less of a bullshit addition. Yhwach loses his normal powers to the arrow, Mimihagi strips the SK Powers. The arrow is no longer solo carrying out of nothing
@Jackattak20@amritasilwereen You had to be watching with your eyes closed to think Mimihagi did nothing lol, the moment it activates the Soul King's Powers burst off Yhwach it inflicts the another form of stillness as the Arrow does and completely bypasses the Almighty
@Jackattak20@amritasilwereen The ending was never going to change all that needed to happen was contextual how it changes. Mimihagi alone fixes his defeat but Grimmjow weakening him via Reiatsu is whatever no Im upset at some of the choices like no Isshin but its not an asspull
@Jackattak20@amritasilwereen It doesn't? All the Anine does is set up the scale of Yhwach's despair so much that the entirety of the 3 Worlds unite against him. The entire tone of the fight shifts because of these additions. All these additions contribute to Yhwach's defeat, Grimm is just the least important
