Toku Prime

Toku, sci-fi, occasional rambling. He/Him

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@KeithUnlimited Shurikenger is a walking cameo generator😄
His gimmick is that you never see what he really looks like untransformed, because he's a ninja who is always in disguise.
So in every episode where he appears out of suit, he's played by a different actor that previously played a ranger

@TokuStats How many times did the stunt actor ride on a hoverboard?
(although my memory is that they only used it during movie appearances and never in the show itself, but I could easily be wrong)

I think the most recent one for me was the Dear Gaga Blu-Ray specials.

It touches on the way our relationship with our parents changes as we all get older, and also the light we can unknowingly shine into other people's lives. 🥹

What is a Kamen Rider moment that really resonated with you? I need a bit of a timeline cleanse, so I’d love to hear a moment, an episode, or a show that really made an impact on you.

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@TheYellowShyGuy They trusted the 13 year old with guns but with Rose they said "No sweetie, just hold this iPad for us." 🫠

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@kingsmillirving I bet Thomas The Tank Engine did.

[kat 💫 @parkcrstorm]

made an extended version of the x-men 97 intro and it definitely took me much longer than i expected, but i'm happy with how it turned out!

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@RobynAnarchist you survived, and that's enough 👍

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@Igadevil HJU Radio was required listening back when I was getting into toku 😁

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@WeeabooShogun Fans have spent years theorizing about laws banning modified bikes, or how HD cameras have made them shy away from recording scenes where the performer would need an increased visibility stunt helmet.
Then occasionally Toei will drop scenes like this that fly against all that.

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@KiwamiCube Well there's a name I've not heard in a long time. Lynxara was good people.🙂

Things may be getting rather explosive for Sentai next year!

@CrimsonPorg Poke that green screen!

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@DonJokerr I'm pretty sure that the alien is a character from the show Space Precinct (which wikipedia tells me aired on Sky One from 1995). So I guess that the lady was appearing on another show on the channel at that time?
No idea why it's such a low rent Ranger costume though.

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

@TheYellowShyGuy Planets are still not even a blip compared to the size of the entire universe though, which I think is their point.

[Toku Prime @TokuNerd]

Hail to the king, baby!

@capn_katie_ Anyone can have multiple middle names. Just ask John Ronald Reuel (J.R.R.) Tolkien.
