not that this affects me as much as it does others but what??????
2d clothing has not made any money for years now and theyre somehow making it so not only is it gonna make even less but some random dude can just put our clothes in their game and make more from it?

Starting July 14th, Roblox will be reducing what creators earn from 2D items, from 70% to 30%. If sold in-game, the game developer will earn 40% and the creator will still earn 30%.
In addition, to upload either 2D or 3D items, you need to pay 200 Robux and be ID verified (or have a linked parent account). To upload, you will need an active Plus/Premium membership and pay a publishing advance, starting at 600 Robux. Totaling to 800 Robux, minimum, per item.
make uploading clothes cost real money again, make it cost 10x what it used to cost to upload in robux, then make the designer earn half of what they used to in return
i know ugc has had this for a while but ugc has always made far more money than 2d clothing sorry
probably gonna change all my stuff to 10 robux instead of 5 to help split even if i end up buying premium for this doo doo update sorry gang (if ppl even still buy my stuff)
might try upload a few more catalog stuff too that might help cus rn if i were to buy premium i lose out
Roblox will require users to have an active 1000 or 2200 Premium subscription to publish 2D clothing.
By March 20th, if the item uploader does not have Premium, Roblox will put the item off-sale and delist the item from the marketplace.
