As it’s International Women’s Day, time to shine the spotlight on our female staff that have made countless contributions towards our Olympic Journey! So far, they have earned us over 1000 miles 👏🏼 💪🏼 #IWD2021

It is not only the runners who contribute, we could not have got to Berlin without this tremendous effort by Sam in Yr 11: cycling over 600km over the Half-Term! 🚴‍♂️💪Seems like half-term & dry sunny weather ☀️ is a good combo for this avid cyclist! Danke Sam! 🇩🇪

Just in! 📨A quick 5k by Xavier in Yr 8 adding to the Victory Miles! Update on our house competition, despite solid performances, Victory are only a close second to Discovery! We are 200 miles away from Berlin, will Resolution & Endeavour help us get to our 2nd checkpoint ⁉️

Some of our staff like Mr Platt have been contributing regularly keeping us on track on our Travel to Tokyo! 💪🙏Indeed, we have earned over 3000 virtual miles so far ✨and are now only 300miles shy of Berlin! ⏱️

Whilst some were relaxing during Half-Term, Jim in Yr 11 was running everyday raising over £300 for World Land Trust! 🌍 In less than a month, despite adverse snow conditions, Jim ran an impressive 300miles! 👏 Huge well done Jim and thanks to you, we are now well into Germany 🇩🇪

KS4 are joining in with the walking, with Jack setting the tone walking over 10000 steps in each of his walks! 👣💪

Our Yr 7s have taken to walking as well! 🙌🚶‍♂️ Elliot started off with walking under 5k and is now regularly walking over 5k reaching 9k in one of his snowy walks! ❄️ Can you walk 10k next time Elliot ⁉️ Stay active, keep up the daily walking! 💪
