Ian Wright is actually right. You can’t treat one of your best players in years like he means nothing. Gabriel Martinelli doesn’t even seem to know what’s happening, and that hurts.

He was Arsenal’s top scorer in the Champions League last season. He deserves better from Mikel Arteta. He started this project alongside Xhaka, Saka and Partey, and he has given everything to this club.

If you’re willing to hold on to a player like Madueke, Martinelli can’t help but feel unfairly treated. And if the decision is to let him go, then please do it properly. This boy has been here since he was a kid. He grew with us, gave us his best years and became one of our own.

He deserves better. More importantly, he deserves a proper farewell❤️
