In the process, the indigenous Meitei is being systematically wiped out and today faces an existential crisis in their homeland of more than 2000 years.

Turns out these #Kukimilitants are from Kuki National Front- President (KNF-P), a SoO group which is a part of the umbrella organization, United People's Front (UPF)

On the night of January 11, 2026, at Ireng Naga Village, #Kangpokpi District, #Manipur armed cadres of the SoO group KNF-P allegedly vandalized public property, destroying a waiting shed, chairs and other materials. The village memorial stone was also defaced with threatening slogans such as “Kukiland” and “Stay Away.”

In response to this unlawful act, residents of Ireng Village staged a peaceful protest on January 12, 2026, by blocking the Ireng road. Following the protest, a self styled commander of KNF-P, Tiger reportedly contacted the Chairman of Ireng Village, issuing threats and warning of dire consequences.
The situation escalated further when around 30+ armed #Kukimilitant cadres allegedly moved toward the village with the intent to attack Naga civilians.

So is this how SoO ground rules are supposed to be @HMOIndia @LokBhavManipur? What role is the PR Govt playing in ensuring public safety and enforcing the law?

Yurembam Rani Devi (60 years)
Telam Thobi Devi (31 years)

Imagine the terror of these innocents.

A mother, her children, and elders wiped out.
Their bodies dumped in rivers as a "message."
