Tonight is Halloween and there will be trick or treaters walking down town roads. Please use caution when driving around town night. There will also be a large presence of trick or treaters on Tolland Green. The carriage roads on Tolland Green are only open to local traffic.

MVA Alert: Units are currently operating on Shenipsit Lake Road near the Ellington town line for a car into a tree. Please avoid the area and seek an alternate route.

There are multiple tree and wires down across town:

15 Grant Hill Road (road closed)
263 Sugar Hill Road (road closed)
62 Cook Road (road passable)
29 Old Stafford Road (one lane open)

Please use caution driving in these areas and seek alternate routes.
