@TB_SinBin@Skydogk9@TonyPaul1984 Pebble and Bethpage are public, Oakland Hills is not.
Why would membership give up access to their course they pay a ton to play in an already short golf season in MI?
@Levski3773@CostaKapo The Giants haven’t played in NY since the 1970s and the Jets haven’t played there since the 1980s…
Just say you’re a butthurt Bears fan and keep it moving lol
@andy_brill@himmybets12 Not a fan of the direction the tour is going. As a MN resident I know the 3M, Rocket Classic, John Deere, etc will all be on the chopping block and it just sucks to see
PE (SSG) is going to want to maximize profits and less about the community aspect they were about before
@Ivantheboomer@NUCLRGOLF Scottie Scheffler is coming this year to the 3M in (MN) and will play the Ryder Cup here in three years.
So it sounds like you’re just a massive pussy
@himmybets12@andy_brill@NUCLRGOLF Tough spot for John Deere, they stand their ground and potentially lose their tournament. The tour (unfortunately) has all the power
Should stay in the quad cities imo
@aka_lynchy@JCigan Looks like 40 people, 10% of workforce
But that’s not nothing, new Blazers guy is clearly on the shit list and people looking at any reason to slight him
https://t.co/NuD8atai0w
@JCigan@JonKrawczynski I think the Blazers one was more notable due to the amount of people losing their jobs.
But agree that the new owner seems to be in the sights of the media and social media as a whole
(Admittedly he does seem super cheap)
@DarrinThurston@syke_0@Gaardsy They’re a game under .500
My god have some standards. And you wonder why no teams win in this town feel the pressure to win, the lowest bar needs to be met for the “fans” to be happy
@GoodLuLuHart@tarkett_85@itsbighonkin Cool, so you’re going off of your own personal opinion and feelings opposed to what actually data shows. Good to know
We can agree that society is unhealthy and lazy and still acknowledge that the 10k steps thing is a just a made up number with no statistical evidence backing it
@GoodLuLuHart@tarkett_85@itsbighonkin Google it, the 10k step trend was made up as a marketing campaign to sell pedometers by a Japanese company in the 1960s
If you can walk 10k steps a day that’s great, but more realistically 7-8k steps is what’s considered optimal and results past that plateau
@Connoreo@JakeSucky C9 is cheap as hell and trying to leverage being in the league against a challengers org and take advantage of an 18 year old trying to get in the league for the first time
They are too cheap to pay a 2k buy-out and making the player pay half
@nds412 They would lose Rahm and Bryson but if they become an extension of the DPWT I could see it possibly working. Still a 10M tournament is way greater than those purses and allow an outlet for people not on the PGAT to make more money and play in starved golf markets
