@1968Tv Probably the most eventful game I've ever been to. Oh, the pure joy of Whatmore's winner going in! I had the perfect view from behind the goal. Ian Wallace lost his wedding ring during this game but on Monday a metal dectectorist was brought in and eventually found it!
@jonnycrackers82 It's good to see him remembered here. Buried in Stamford cemetery as No.1 Squadron was at Wittering at the time. Have placed a poppy cross on his grave in the past.
@Fly_BOAC ...and it appears Delta Bravo it about to be removed from the safety of its hangar and placed outside for its inevitable destruction by the British weather. Such a truly historic aircraft deserves better treatment.
@BCFC Dreadful, terrible, and far too soon. Like thousands of others I was a season ticket holder during his peak years and IMHO no player has equalled him since. Such a nice guy too, always greeted us cheering supporters outside St. A with a smile and a wave. Time to rename a stand
@MaxK_J@Aerossurance@CranfieldUni Me too, but I took part in the trials at Birmingham, before they moved on to Cranfield. I thought the evacuations were pretty realistic in that everybody really 'went for it' - fall over and you would be trampled!
