-expenses are grossly overstated by tons. Cell phone and vehicle insurance is factored into wage as well despite being expenses most car owners experience. Assumes a driver would never use car for personal purposes. Tax ded. not factored in.

@jason_fruen @DJWolter @DakotaCountyMN Oh, $40-$50 an hour is well over minimum wage during those times. It’s like expecting Coldwell Banker to subsidize an agent with low transactions because they refuse to work past 4 during the week and no Saturdays.

@jason_fruen @DJWolter @DakotaCountyMN I’ll toss in a little insight as I have driven for Uber and Lyft for almost 8 years. I have made excellent money. As an independent contractor we are essentially business owners. A lot of drivers don’t want to treat it that way by understanding demand, finance, and service.

@AmericanAir I fly frequently and this is absolutely the worst service/situation I have ever seen. Bag went missing yesterday and was told it would be on the next flight. Several flights later and no communication. Hold time was between 4 hours-21 hours. Brutal.
